CAMI ANDERSON, MS, LPC
LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
With over eleven years of counseling experience, Cami is dedicated to helping individuals manage and overcome challenges such as anxiety, social phobias, disordered eating, OCD, depression, anger, difficult relationships, life transitions/challenges, and the lasting effects of trauma. She works collaboratively with clients to develop practical, personalized strategies that enhance their overall well-being. Her approach is rooted in a deep commitment to supporting others as they navigate challenges, spotlighting hope along the way. One of her greatest joys as a counselor is witnessing clients recognize hope and realize their own progress.
Cami is an integrative therapist who draws from a range of therapeutic modalities and tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her approach emphasizes a holistic perspective, encouraging clients to explore the various factors impacting their mental health, including emotional, mental, social, physical, and, where relevant, spiritual aspects.
Cami is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps clients recognize how their thoughts and behaviors can influence their emotional experiences and overall situation. She is also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a specialized approach designed to support those navigating the effects of trauma. Additionally, Cami incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on helping clients accept their thoughts and feelings without judgment, while taking purposeful actions aligned with their core values.
